A large part of ethical consumer choices is being aware of what the marketing descripters actually mean.

As the speaker in that food marketing clip (I’ll see if I can find it again) said: the main weapon that marketers use in advertising food, is you. There is nothing quite like wilful ignorance.

PS ‘Barn laid’ also looks a lot like that top pic.
